Staff - Key Fob Distribution

  1. Select the Residents tile.

  2. Search for and select the resident.

  3. Select Keyring from the top-right menu.

  4. Select Manage keys tab (in purple).

  5. Click into the Fob Keys section & select the fob number to be issued. Please note there is a limit of 3 key fobs per resident.

  6. Click Save.

If you have a lot of key fobs to choose from, toggle off V3 so you can type in the key fob number, select it, then click save. Once you have assigned the key fob, toggle back over to V3 to make sure it was assigned.

Types of keys:

  • Fob keys - Physical device/key to engage locks

  • Bluetooth key - This is the resident's mobile key on their Quext phone app.

  • PIN code - Only for communities that use a lock with PIN codes.

  • Remote key - This key allows for the resident to provide their guests remote access to their assigned locations.

  • Gate tag - Only for communities that use gate tags.
