This guide is for Quext technicians who install Kona Macro gateways on the Tektelic Network Server. The Kona Macro Gateway is an outdoor hardened LoRaWAN IoT gateway that supports the full range of LoRaWAN channels. The Gateway supports one external LoRa antenna, an internal GPS antenna, two power options--including direct DC input power or Power over Ethernet (PoE)--and two backhaul options--including copper Ethernet or 3G/4G wireless.

Kona Macro & Mega Outdoor Ethernet Connection
Strip cable jacket 15±1 mm, do not strip wire insulation.
Slide adapter (T0002265) over cable as shown. Do not tighten cable gland nut.
Assemble RJ45 plug to cable and crimp.
Tighten Cable Gland Nut
Pull the adapter over the plug and hand tighten the cable gland nut.
Outdoor Ethernet cable and RJ-45 plug are customer supplied. Cable OD range: 4.0-7.0mm.
