Written by Support

Failed PACS (Physical Access Control) operations alert you to devices that need attention. When you see a PACS alert, follow these steps to review the alert:

  1. If the alert is related to a Resident or unit, note the location/unit number. If related to a User, note the User’s name.

  2. From the Devices tab, select Locks and then click PACS.

  3. Use the Filter icon to:

    1. filter the Status fields to Failed.

    2. search by either location/unit number or user name.

  4. Click Apply.

  5. Review the PACS Queue Log. Here you can view the notes related to the fail.

    • The PACS Trigger will indicate the event that triggered the error

      • If the trigger is Revoke Temporary Access, perform the Sync a Lock procedure

    • If the error is related to the thermostat or lock, follow the troubleshooting steps for devices

    • Select Retry from the PACS Queue Log

    • If after a few minutes you still see the error - contact Quext support
