Google Wallet: Require Device Unlock to Use
What is "Require Device Unlock to Use"?
Google Wallet allows you to use your Quext digital key to unlock supported smart locks with your Android phone.
The Require device unlock to use setting determines whether you must unlock your phone before your digital key can be used.
On – You must wake and unlock your phone before tapping the lock.
Off – You only need to wake your phone's screen before tapping the lock. Your phone remains locked, allowing for faster entry.
For the quickest unlocking experience, we recommend turning Require device unlock to use Off.
NOTE: This only works for Google Wallet. Other wallets like the Samsung Wallet are incompatible with Quext. You must use Google Wallet for Quext Wallet Pass capabilities.
