Why create a manual lease if Quext is integrated with my PMS?
If resident data isn’t syncing as expected, you can manually create a lease to avoid delays. Creating a lease manually allows the resident to be added immediately so access and services can be set up without waiting for the integration.
This is a temporary workaround. Once syncing resumes, records should reconcile automatically. To prevent duplicates or conflicts, rely on the integration whenever possible.
NOTE: Manually created lease will not be integrated with PMS. All actions (move-in, move-out) must be done manually in this system. No automation or sync will apply to this lease.
Create the New Lease in Quext.io
Navigate to the Leases page.
Click Add new lease.
Select the Unit the resident will be moving into.
Choose the lease period.
Assign the resident to the lease by either
searching for and selecting the resident, if they already have a profile in Quext, or
tapping Create new resident. Enter an email address, and first and last name for the resident, then tap Add.
Click Add.
Activate the Lease
Now that the new lease is created in Quext, you'll need to move-in the resident to activate the lease and any associated keys.
Return to your Leases page and select the lease.
Tap Move-in next to the resident's name.
Update/add any credentials that the resident needs.
Click Move-in.
