Resident App - Perform a Sync

If your smart lock isnโ€™t responding the way you expect โ€” such as your digital key not working, changes not updating, or access feeling out of sync โ€” performing a manual sync in the Quext app can often resolve the issue.

A sync refreshes the connection between your app and your lock, ensuring your credentials and settings are up to date. Follow the steps below to complete a sync directly from your app.

  1. Open the Quext app.

  2. Select your unit, then tap Update Lock.

  3. Tap the type of sync you need:

    1. Self Sync to update your credentials, only.

    2. Full Sync to update credentials, lock setting, and pull an audit log.

  4. Once the sync is complete, tap the key icon and engage your lock.
