Resident App - Internet

For residents who manage their internet plans/payments through the Quext app.

On the Home page, tap the Internet tile.

Selecting a plan

When no Internet plan is selected yet, a tile on this screen will give you the option to select your internet plan. Tap on this to begin choosing and setting up your service. A list of options will appear, which will include a brief description of the network option and the cost. Select the desired option and tap Continue.

Next, a payment method will need to be set up. Only one payment method can be saved at a time per network instance, including across roommates. Tap Add payment method, add the desired payment method on the next screen and save.


Changing to a new plan

When a plan is already in place, but you want to upgrade or downgrade your service, navigate to the Internet section of the app, tap into the currently selected plan, and select Change plan.

When upgrading to a higher priced plan, you will be charged a prorated amount and begin the new plan immediately, and credited for a prorated amount of what will not be used of the previous plan.

When downgrading to a lower priced or free plan, the change will come into effect during the next pay period (monthly), and the bill will adjust accordingly.


Transaction history

To view the transaction history of your internet plan, tap into the selected plan and choose Transaction history. This will list all invoices, charges, and credits associated with your stay.


Changing payment method

To change the payment method, tap into the selected plan, and choose Payment method. Here, a new payment method can be added, which will remove the previous payment method.
