Resident App - Create/Modify/Delete a Thermostat Schedule

Written by Support

An event has a start time but no end time. Each event on the schedule ends when the next event begins.

To ensure your events are active, be sure that the Control Method Type is set to Smart mode. During event times, any manual changes to the temperature and/or fan settings will only temporarily override the event settings before scheduled operation resumes.

Create an event

1. Select Control Method

2. Tap the Add Event tab

3. Select the days of the week on which the event will be active.

The buttons are labeled with abbreviations for each day, from

Monday through Sunday.

4. Adjust the time bars by scrolling to select a start time for the

event, along with either AM or PM

5. Select Mode the thermostat will enter into at the event start time (Cool, Heat, Auto, or Off)

6. Select Fan and choose the mode the fan will enter into at the

event start time

7. Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to set the desired

temperature (for Heat and Cool modes) or the temperature

range (for Auto mode)

8. Select Add to save the event and return to the Control

Method page

Note: On the Control Method page, be sure that Type is set to

Smart in order for your events to be active.

Modify Event

On the Control Method page, select an event to open the Edit Event page. Make your desired changes and choose done.

Delete an Event

On the Control Method page, select the trash icon in the upper-right corner of an event tile. When you are prompted to remove event, choose yes.
